Seven disciplines. One accountable roof.

Every operation a precision component needs — cutting, forming, joining, finishing, assembling, repeating — runs inside one quality system at STRATOA. The part that leaves our floor is the part your drawing described.

Precision Machining

Complex, tight-tolerance components in 3, 4 and 5-axis milling and CNC turning. This is the core of the floor: prismatic housings, shafts, brackets, manifolds and mechanism parts where the tolerance band is the specification.

Programs are proven out on first articles, fixtures are engineered per part family, and in-process checks are written into the routing — so accuracy is designed in, not inspected in. The machine groups behind this service are detailed under Machines.

Sheet Metal & Industrial Fabrication

Laser cutting and CNC bending for enclosures, frames, guards and structural sheet work. Fabrication at STRATOA runs to the same drawing discipline as machining: flat patterns verified, bend allowances calculated, datums preserved from blank to finished form.

Post-fabrication machining is available in-house when a formed or welded structure carries machined interfaces — one of the quiet advantages of a single roof.

Surface Treatment & Coating

A component isn't finished until it can survive its operating environment. We manage the full finishing chain — preparation in-house, specialised treatments through audited partner lines — under STRATOA's quality ownership, so finished parts return to our inspection room before they ever reach yours.

Assembly-Ready Components

Machined and fabricated parts become sub-assemblies and mechanical sub-systems on our own benches: bearings fitted, fasteners torqued to specification, hardware installed, function checked. You receive a component that bolts straight into your line — not a kit of parts and a hope.

Welding & Fabrication

TIG, MIG and ARC welding to qualified procedures, in dedicated bays for stainless and carbon steel work. Structural weldments, frames and custom-built assemblies are fabricated with weld symbols honoured, distortion managed and datums preserved — then stress-relieved and machined in-house where the drawing demands it.

Contract Manufacturing

For customers who need a part made again and again — on schedule, without re-explaining anything — we run low-to-medium volume production under supply agreements: fixed routings, retained fixtures and programs, batch-wise inspection records and delivery against your call-off schedule.

Prototyping

Machined prototypes straight from any standard 3D design file, built with production-intent processes — so what you learn from the prototype is true of the production part. One-offs and small validation batches move through the floor on priority routings, with the same inspection discipline as series work.

When the prototype proves out, the program, fixturing and routing are already production assets — the transition to a repeat batch is a decision, not a restart.
